The bench

A hook, because the burner was already hot.

I heat the tube until it gives, then I bend it off the flame, not in it. In the flame it kinks. This one is a practice hook for a bracket that has to clear a conduit. It is not part of anyone's name.

The real job this week is a single word for a barber, twelve inches, ruby. I will not start it until the pattern is on the bench in pencil. A text message with the spelling is how letters come out backwards.
